These terms cover your use of the Trawl app and this website. By downloading or using Trawl you agree to them.
Who we are
Trawl is made by Vince Erkadoo, Mauritius. Contact: vince@vincedotcode.com.
Free look and purchase
- Trawl is a one-time purchase of $20 (plus tax where it applies), bought on this website. You can download it right after paying. It includes every 1.x update. There is no subscription, nothing renews, and there is no free trial.
- To use Trawl, sign in inside the app with the email you paid with.
- A future major version (2.0) may be a paid upgrade. Your 1.x copy keeps working.
- Customers who bought an earlier monthly, yearly or lifetime plan keep it on its original terms.
- One purchase covers the Macs of a single person.
Payments
Orders are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as our merchant of record and is responsible for payment processing, invoicing and sales tax. Prices are shown in US dollars; your bank may convert them.
Acceptable use
Don't resell, share or reverse-engineer accounts or licences, or use Trawl to break the law. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
Your files
Trawl reads files on your Mac only to search them for you. You keep all rights to your files. We do not receive them.
No warranty
Trawl is provided "as is". We work hard to make it reliable, but we can't promise it will find every file or be free of errors. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it applies.
